Safeguarding

At Greenhill we recognise that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility.  Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has an important role to play in safeguarding children.

Our staff aim to work effectively with social care, the police, health services and other services to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. At all times, we ensure our approach is child-centred and considers what is in the best interests of the child and act accordingly.

Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Eccles (Executive Head of Academy) Mr Padley (Head of Academy) and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Akroyd, Mrs Glynn and Miss Cummins (Assistant Principals). If you have any concerns or questions you can contact them at the academy.
