A fantastic start to year 3!

What an amazing week year 3 had!

The first full week in year 3 consisted of lots of new learning as we got used to being in the juniors. From new routines around break and lunches, new halls for assemblies as well as our new classes and teachers we also looked at the iPads we will be using. 

We started looking at our topics for this half term, including the map of the UK and had a little bit of fun around the classroom with our science topic teaching us about the push and pull forces. We tested what objects need pushing or pulling every day. 

Class 8 went swimming and Miss Mott and all the other staff who went with class 8 were really happy with the way the children behaved both whilst walking to and from the baths as well as whilst they were in their lessons. Class 7 have a lot to aim for when it is there turn! 

We also tasted some lovely foods from around the UK as an additional treat for us all.
