AUTUMN 2 IN PRE-SCHOOL...

Welcome to Autumn term 2 in Pre-school.

This term we will be focusing on 3 different books. For the next 2 weeks our first story book is GOLDILOCKS and the THREE BEARS.

We will be reading the book each day and providing lots of different activities with a link to the story. All the children will be encouraged to take part in small group tasks, which supporting understanding and spoken language.

Also, this week…

Some children chose to draw and copy patterns to make firework pictures with chalk. They had fun making “whoosh” and “bang” sounds.

As a class we have been introducing children to the festival of Diwali and making some rangoli patterns with coloured rice and shiny sequins. We wish a very Happy Diwali to those families celebrating this week.
