Year 4 Adventures: Learning, Singing, and Spreading Joy!

This week in Year 4 has been full of festive fun and exciting learning opportunities!

We’ve been getting into the Christmas spirit by learning traditional Christmas songs. The small hall has been filled with music and cheer as everyone practices their singing ready for the big performance.

In English, we’ve been working on non-chronological reports, exploring how to organise facts and present information clearly. The children have enjoyed researching and writing about fascinating topics, showing off their creativity and knowledge.

Our geography lessons have taken us on a journey across Europe! Each pupil explored a European country, discovering its culture, landmarks, and traditions. It’s been amazing to see the curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about places beyond our own borders. They have created a webpage.

In French, we’ve been practicing how to present family members. The children have loved sharing details about their families in a new language, building confidence in speaking French.

To top it all off, Year 4 has been spreading joy throughout the school by delivering Christmas cards to different classes. It’s been a wonderful way to share kindness and celebrate the festive season together.

What a fantastic week it has been—full of learning, laughter, and holiday cheer!
