Class Blog Week Ending 17.4.26

In maths, the children have been learning to recognise and use Roman numerals, linking their learning to our history topic. In English, the children began their writing with a Greek-style letter written from the perspective of a slave girl, carefully using fronted adverbials and experimenting with a more informal tone of voice. In PE, we have moved on to dance, where the children explored movement through shadow boxing, marching, and building roads, imagining life as a Roman soldier.
