Our Learning This Week 🌟

This week in class we have been busy learning, sharing ideas and developing our skills across maths, English, PSHE and science.

In maths, we have been focusing on adding and subtracting. The children have been using different methods to solve number sentences, including using number lines, objects and mental strategies. They have worked hard to explain their thinking and check their answers, showing great perseverance and confidence.

In English, we have continued to write, edit and publish a letter. The children have been thinking carefully about who their letter is for and why they are writing it. We focused on using clear sentences, correct punctuation and a friendly but appropriate tone. We were very proud of the effort the children put into improving their work before producing a final published version.

In PSHE, we have been learning about the human life cycle. The children discussed the different stages of life and how people grow and change over time. We talked about how everyone is unique and how our needs and abilities change as we get older. The children showed great maturity during these thoughtful discussions.

It has been a fantastic week of learning. The children should be very proud of their hard work, curiosity and positive attitudes. We are looking forward to building on this learning next week!
