Year 4 Weekly Blog

What a wonderful and busy week we’ve had in Year 4!

🎉 Eid Party

We began the week by celebrating Eid together. The children enjoyed music, dance, games, and  spending  time celebrating as a class.

🛠️ Curriculum Week – Creating Desk Tidies

As part of Curriculum Week, the children designed and created their very own desk tidies. They explored different materials, practised measuring accurately, and worked carefully to join and decorate their structures. Everyone was so proud of their finished products—and our classroom is now much tidier too!

🌳 Debate – Should Deforestation Be Stopped?

In English and topic, Year 4 took part in a class debate all about deforestation. Some children spoke for stopping deforestation, while others argued against. We listened to each other’s ideas, shared strong opinions, and used persuasive language to make our points. The children showed brilliant confidence and respect for different viewpoints.

Have a lovely Easter holiday break!
