This Week in Year 4

This week has been full of creativity and learning in Year 4!

In English, we’ve been diving into the classic European tale “Beauty and the Beast.” The children have been exploring the story from a new perspective by writing in the first person as the Beast. It’s been wonderful to see their imaginations come alive as they give voice to this iconic character.

In Maths, our focus has been on decimals, particularly tenths. The children have been developing their reasoning skills and applying their understanding in problem-solving activities. It’s great to see their confidence growing with these important concepts.

To keep the energy flowing, we’ve also continued practicing our Greek dancing, learning the traditional Sirtaki steps. The class has really enjoyed moving to the rhythm and embracing a bit of cultural fun!

What a fantastic week of learning and creativity!
