This week in Class 7 30/01/26
Date: 29th Jan 2026 @ 10:11am
We have had an AMAZING week in Class 7. We have finished our pneumatic sarcophagus, which we are so proud of. The children were creative, technical and #Workwise. We also continued our Sceince topic on 'Rocks and Soils' by completing investigations on rocks and soils to test for purpose. Ask your child for the definition of 'permeable' and 'texture'. Year 3 are growing from strength to strength as scientists and showcasing their skills during the investigations.
Please make sure that you are reading with you child 3x a week. The benefits are huge and it is so important that every child reads with an adult at least 3x per week, if not daily. Please record this in the Yellow reading records provided.
Please also ensure that your child is practicing their Times Tables. Another really important skill to have. Practice the 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, 10x and 11x tables with your child...if you don't use it, you lose it.
Thank you so much to all of Class 7 for thier fabulous attitudes, please come into school every day with a smile on your face, ready to learn and show kindness.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mr Rose
