This week and next we are focusing on a book called WHERE’s TEDDY by Rod Campbell. It’s about a boy called Buster  who goes everywhere with his teddy bear. He helps around the house, cleaning, tidying toys, cooking and shopping. We have been looking for the teddy bear in the pictures.

In class we have been hiding pictures of teddy bears around for the children to find. There has been lots of role play activities offered such as dressing dolls, washing lines and pegs, pots and pans in the sand and a toy cleaning station in the home area.

We have introduced different listening games based on household objects to see if the children can identify the different sounds.
