This Week in Reception (WB 29.6.26)

What a fantastic week we have had in Reception!

This week, we have been learning all about sea creatures through our non-fiction book. The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the underwater world and discovering lots of new facts. We have learned about a variety of sea animals and discussed where they live, what they eat and some of their special features. The children have been keen to share their favourite sea creatures and impress us with the amazing facts they have remembered.

In maths, we have been focusing on sharing. We have been taking every opportunity throughout the day to practise our sharing skills, including sharing our snack with friends. The children have been learning how to share objects fairly and have enjoyed using practical resources to work out how to make sure everyone has an equal amount. We are so proud of how they have demonstrated kindness, patience and excellent teamwork while sharing with others.
