This week, Year 6 have continued to show a calm and positive approach as they move through their SATs journey. The children have impressed us with their focus, resilience and determination, reminding themselves to take each day as it comes and to always do their best.
Alongside this, excitement has been building in English as we begin a new writing focus: police reports inspired by The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The children have been analysing events from the story, thinking carefully about viewpoint, evidence and clear reporting—producing some fantastic ideas already!
We are extremely proud of the mature attitude Year 6 are showing, both in their learning and their wellbeing. A great week of effort, creativity and confidence—well done! 🌟
