This week in Year 6

What a wonderful start to the term Year 6 have had. They have all settled in really well and are geared up towards beginning their Year 6 journey.

The children enjoyed our visit from Mr B and learnt about how WW2 began, what life was like in Britian during this time and significant key events. They are now transferring this to our ‘Peace in Our Time’ History lessons.

In Maths we have been learning about Place value and focusing on addition, subtraction and rounding numbers.

In English we are focusing on the text Rose Blanche and have begun writing letters and have written in both the formal and informal style of writing.

We are immensely proud of the children, well done!
