This week in Year 6...

Date: 28th Feb 2025 @ 7:08am

Year 6 has had a fantastic start to the half term! In Science, we’ve been learning how light travels, exploring natural and artifical light. Our refugee topic continues to spark thoughtful discussions as the children learn about the experiences of refugees and how we can make a positive impact. In English, we’ve begun writing non-chronological reports, with the children researching topics and focusing on structure and detail  of a website. In PSHE, we’ve been discussing aspirations for the future, and the class has shared some inspiring goals, demonstrating a real sense of ambition. It's been a positive and engaging start to the term, and I’m excited to see how the children continue to grow and learn!
