This week in Year 6...WB 01.12.25

This week in Year 6 we have continued to write our 'War Diaries' in role as Flossie Albright.  She was a 9 year old girl living in the countryside during World War 2, when her father signed up for the war and her life changed forever.  Children in Year 6 have tried hard to include all the different features of a diary and have produced some fabulous learning. 

In Maths this week, we have been learning about percentages and how we find percentages of amounts.  The children have had to use lots of different Maths skills to tackle this weeks learning and we have been so impressed with their attitude and effort. Keep up the good work everyone. 

In DT we have started our topic about 'Air Raid Shelters'.  We have started our research and we look forward to planning and beginning to build an Anderson shelter next week. Watch this space for our final pieces!
