This week in Year 6....WB 17.11.25
Date: 19th Nov 2025 @ 8:09am
This week in Year 6, children have been exploring non-chronological reports and their features. Children have researched the Blitz and created posters and delivered presentations to the class about what they have learnt. Pupils have been learning how to write list sentences and how to use punctuate parenthesis. We look forward to seeing their final non-chronological reports on the Blitz.
In Maths, we have been learning how to convert between fractions, decimals and percentages. We have been super impressed with how well the children are applying their prior knowledge to this weeks learning.
In Science, children have been learning about 'Evolution and Inheritance'. We have considered how plants and animals adapt to their environments. Children have learned about how the Peppered Moths evolved over the 19th Century after the onset of the industrial revolution. Make sure to ask your child all about it.
