🌟 What a Busy Week in Year 2! 🌟

We have had another busy and exciting week in Year 2, filled with lots of learning, creativity and fun!

One of the highlights of our week has been our artwork! We have been learning all about the amazing artist Andy Goldsworthy, who creates beautiful artwork using natural materials. We were inspired by his incredible creations and had a go at making our own Andy Goldsworthy-inspired artwork. 

We have also been having lots of fun learning about Peter Rabbit and his mischievous adventure! We have enjoyed acting out the story and really getting into character as cheeky Peter. We have been busy developing our writing skills too, using adjectives and conjunctions to create detailed and interesting sentences about Peter and his adventures. 

Our Year 2 mathematicians have been working incredibly hard this week! We have started exploring addition and have been using concrete resources to help us solve some tricky calculations. We have been thinking carefully, explaining our methods and showing off our fantastic mathematical skills.
