w/b 23.02.2026 This week in Year 2!

Year 2 have had a fantastic first week back and have been working incredibly hard on our pledge point, #beaperformer.

We have been busy rehearsing for the upcoming Choral Speaking Festival and were very proud to perform during the whole school assembly. We have focused on using loud, clear voices and speaking in time with each other. We received lots of positive feedback from the Year 6 pupils, which has made us even more excited for the real performance!

We have also been developing our performance skills in our computing lessons. We have been creating music using Purple Mash and Chrome Music Lab, and sharing our compositions with our classmates. It has been wonderful to see everyone performing their musical creations with confidence.

Well done, Year 2 — what a brilliant start to the term! 🎭🎶
