W/b 23.03.2026 This week in Year 2!

What a fantastic end to the term we’ve had in Year 2! We kicked off the week with wonderful Eid celebrations on Monday. The children loved joining in the fun and especially enjoyed making their own biscuits. It was a brilliant way to combine creativity and teamwork!

 

We also had an exciting STEM week packed with hands-on learning. The children explored the properties of different materials, experimented with prototypes, and took on the challenge of designing their very own toastie package. They thought carefully about what would help keep a toastie warm and worked hard to create packaging that was both effective and fun. Their designs were thoughtful, imaginative, and full of character—we were incredibly proud of their effort.
