What an incredible first week back after the holidays!

The children returned full of energy and excitement and we launched straight into our new topic with a wow star day that truly lived up to its name.

The day began with a burst of music and movement as we welcomed a professional dancer for a Bollywood dancing workshop. The children were captivated by the vibrant rhythms and graceful steps and it was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they mastered some of the moves. Smiles and laughter filled the room - it was such a joyful start!

Nextt we explored the flavours of India with a food tasting session. There was so many delicious treats to try but the clear favourite was the samosas. Crispy, golden and packed with flavour - they were a big hit with everyone. To compliment the tasting the children rolled up their sleeves and made their own mango lassi - sweet, creamy and refreshing. It was the perfect to drink after all that dancing

To end the day we turned our attention to art inspired by traditional Indian designs. The children created to their own vibrant masterpieces. The classroom was alive with rangoli patterns, colour and creativity and the results were truly stunning.

It was a fantastic way to begin the term and we can't wait to continue exploring this exciting topic together.
