w/c 08.12.25 This week in Year 2!

We had a fantastic trip to see the Beauty and Beast pantomime yesterday! The children loved the colourful costumes, funny characters and all the singing and dancing. There were lots of happy faces and plenty of giggles throughout the performance and lots of tired faces when we got back to school. 

On Wednesday we had a special visitor - Santa! He arrived with a sack full of gifts and very kindly gave each of us a book as a present. 

We have been working hard in the classroom too... 

In English, we have been writing a retell of 'Toys in Space', focusing on sequencing events and using descriptive language. 

In Maths, we have learnt about arrays and explored how they help us understand repeated addition and early multiplication. 

We have a busy week next week too. Don't miss our brilliant events:
