w/c 15.05.25 This week in Year 2!

It has been a busy few weeks in Year 2! We have visited Oldham library and gallery, travelled to Northmoor for an author visit with Beth Woolvin and performed our final year group assembly of the year. 

This week, we have been learning about time in our Maths lessons. The children have been working hard to fully understand the terms: oclock, half past, quarter to and quarter past. 

In English, we have read 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' and have been practising using time conjunctions, imperative verbs and adjectives in preparation for writing a set up instructions next week. 

We continue to learn about 'Healthy Lifestyles' in Science, this week focus on dental health. We also worked on your throwing and catching skills in PE, using chest, shoulder and bounce passes, and linked this to our previous Science work on exericse.
