w/c 19.05.25 This week in Year 2!

We have had a great week in Year 2! 

The chidlren have worked incredibly hard to write detailed instructions based on our text 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch'. They have worked especially hard on including time conjunctions, imperative verbs and adjectives. 

During Maths lessons we have been learning about fractions. Everyone is now able to find a fraction of a set or quantity using concrete resources. 

We have also worked on creating balanced meals within our healthy lifestyle Science topic. 

The children have worked incredibly hard this half term and we hope they have an enjoyable half term holiday!

Notices for next half term: 

-PE days for both Class 5&6 are Wednesday and Friday. 

-We will be going on a trip to Alexandra Park at the beginning of July (more details to follow) - if you would like to join us as a parent volunteer please speak to your child's teacher.
