W/C 20.04.26 This Week in Year 2

We’ve had a great week in Year 2 and really enjoyed making the most of the sunny weather!

In English, we wrote clear instructions for making a healthy packed lunch. We focused on using imperative verbs, time conjunctions, and descriptive adjectives to make our writing easy to follow and interesting to read.

In Maths, we have been practising addition, with a particular focus on using the inverse operation to check our answers. This has helped us feel more confident and accurate.

Our Science learning has been all about the human body. We’ve been identifying different organs, learning where they are, and understanding what their jobs are.

We are very excited to share our class assembly with you next week: 📅 Tuesday 28th April
