It has been another busy and exciting week in Year 5!
We have been researching our topic 'Rivers' in preparation for writing a non-chronological report about the pollution in UK rivers. The children have enjoyed drama lessons which involved them being interviewed for a news report regarding the pollution and what solutions can be put in place to help prevent further damage to UK rivers.
In maths, we have been working on the long multiplication method and applying that knowledge to solving word problems.
In Science we have been conducting experiments to test materials properties.
