What we've been learning about in Nursery! (19.10.20)

Date: 22nd Oct 2020 @ 5:28pm

In nursery we have been learning about a story called 'We're going on a bear hunt'. In groups we went on our own bear hunt outside, looking for hidden bear cutouts which was great fun! The children have also been busy painting and drawing the main character from the story, the bear!! We created story maps, drawing out what we remember from the story. We also acted out the story in a music session. Remebering all the key phrases from the story!

What we have been learning about this week (12.10.20)

Date: 15th Oct 2020 @ 6:30pm

We have finally got our full intake of Nursery children. During circle time we had the confidence to share our names to our new class with lots of our new friends. Our topic this week was 'My family'. We listened to a story about Mum and Dad and shared our own thoughts about our parents, we made paintings of our parents. We also made little paper houses with drawings of our family members. To end the week we shared family photographs and spoke about out family members to our class.

What we've been learning about this week! 28/9/20

In Nursery we have been welcoming lots of new children. We have been painting our own self potraits focusing on the detail of our features. We have also been familarising ourself with all of the area's we have to explore. Lots of children were busing in the creative area using glue.
